An inconsolable woman has sounded the alarm on social platforms following a wig she purchased via the internet that resulted in her requiring hospitalization.
A lady by know as mommin_whilehealin posted on her tiktok that she bought the wig online in Amazon website.
From what the lady said on the post she made on tiktok that the wig infected her with a disease called molluscum contagiosum.
Molluscum contagiosum is Aaviral skin infection that results in round, firm, painless bumps.
The condition spreads through contact with an infected person or a contaminated object.
She also show the bumps cause by the disease allover her body
She said;
She said; “It’s 3 am and I’m in the hospital because I bought a wig off of Amazon and ended up with Molluscum.”
The footage sparked responses from online users who questioned the likelihood of catching the illness from a hairpiece.
